MB Real Estate Taps Purcell as COO, EVP

MB Real Estate promoted Kevin Purcell to chief operating officer and executive vice president in its Chicago, IL, office. He formerly served as executive vice president and managing director of asset management.
Purcell has been active in many facets of commercial real estate for almost 20 years, including asset management. He was previously a leasing agent responsible for more than 2.5 million rentable square feet of office, industrial and retail space.
He also has drawn on his construction management expertise, directing the $125 million redevelopment of three of Chicago's most distinguished properties, including One North LaSalle and 360 N. Michigan.

HFF Hires Hall

Scott Hall has joined HFF as managing director in its San Diego office. Hall will specialize in hotel investment sales and hotel and resort debt placement transactions.
Hall started his career in real estate at Fieldstone Communities as a land acquisition and market analyst. Prior to joining HFF, he worked for Lowe Enterprises as a vice president in the Hospitality Group and most recently in the Real Estate Services Group.

Donovan Joins State Street as Senior Managing Director

Timothy Donovan joined State Street Corp. as senior managing director and head of real estate fund services for North America.
Donovan will report to Bhagesh Malde, senior managing director in State Street's alternative investment solutions group. He will help expand the firm's real estate investment servicing business.
Previously Donovan worked at Beacon Residential Management where he served as chief executive responsible for asset management of the company's real estate portfolio. He also served as chief financial officer leading the company's middle and back office operations.

Myrick Commercial Joins Bullock Mannelly Partners

Richard S. Myrick Jr. and his company, Myrick Commercial Real Estate LLC, joined Bullock Mannelly Partners Inc. Myrick will serve as managing director in the land brokerage and investment banking group.
Myrick, a 30-year commercial real estate veteran, has developed land and office buildings such as Parkway 400 in the North Fulton submarket. As an experienced broker, he will handle land transactions for sellers and buyers for investment, development and recreational purposes.
Myrick is a former president of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.

Harbert Joins Colliers International

Joseph Harbert joined the New York office Colliers International as president of its eastern region. Harbert will use his 30 years of real estate experience to accelerate Colliers' presence in the Tri-State area.
He was previously at Cushman & Wakefield for almost eight years, where he was the chief operating officer for the New York tri-state region. His career also includes senior leadership positions with Edward S. Gordon, Insignia/ESG and later CBRE.
